Child Safety Wristbands
Because our wristbands are sold in packs of 500 or 1000, we typically sell to organizations such as churches, schools, day care providers, shopping malls, etc. However, we do offer custom printed Speedi-Band® Tyvek wristbands with a low minimum order of 100 wristbands.
There are many different ways to use wristbands to for child safety. One method is to use our Securmatch® or Securband Plus® wristbands that have a matching, numbered, tear-off stub. The child wears the numbered wristband and the parent retains the matching numbered stub.Daycare or nursery staff can then verify the numbers match. This same system can be used by having the daycare staff keep a log with the names of each child and their parent(s) and writing the wristband serial number in the log for additional recordkeeping and verification.
Writing parent or guardian contact info (such as cell phone number) on the wristbands is one of the easiest ways to use stock wristbands for child safety. Our stock wristbands are inexpensive, disposable and one-size-fits all, making them an ideal choice for temporary child ID for these types of environments where a child could become separated from his/her parents or group:
